Premier Pet Lodge was founded by Kathleen Tollison, who has spent her entire life in the animal-care world. Her father is a practicing veterinarian in Houston, Texas, and after college she joined his hospital team, spending 16 years as Hospital Manager before opening the lodge here in Utah. That veterinary-rooted background carries through to how we transport pets: with trained handlers, careful attention to safety and comfort, and the same care your pet receives once they’re with us at the lodge.
Between work, travel, and the realities of mountain-town life, getting your pet where they need to be isn’t always easy. Our concierge service takes that off your plate, so your dog or cat gets to the lodge, the vet, or back home without you having to rearrange your day.
How Our Pet Concierge Service Works
Our transportation service is built around your pet’s safety and comfort. Trained handlers transport your pet in climate-controlled vehicles, keeping them secure and at ease for the entire trip. We can provide rides to and from our facility for boarding, daycare, grooming, or training, take your pet to a veterinary appointment, or bring them safely back home. Just let us know what you need and we’ll arrange the details.
Transportation Pricing
Transportation is priced per trip based on your location:
- Kamas Valley — $20 per trip
- Park City / Kimball Junction — $35 per trip
- Park City outer areas (Preserve, Jeremy Ranch, Pinebrook, etc.) — $35–$40 per trip
- Heber / Midway — $35 per trip
- Salt Lake City — call for pricing ($100 minimum)
- Custom trips — available by request; call or email to inquire
Transportation Included With Daycare Packages
Already a daycare regular? Our daycare packages include transportation during regular route hours — one-way with half-day packages and round-trip with full-day packages — so we can pick your dog up and bring them home while you’re at work or on the mountain. Ask our staff about current route times and how to add your dog to a route.
A Note on Seasonal and Weather Fees
Mountain weather and a busy events calendar can affect transportation. Additional transport fees may apply on weekends and during ski season or special events, and weather or road-condition fees may apply when conditions require extra time or care. We’ll always be upfront about any added costs — just ask our staff for details when you schedule.
