Premier Pet Lodge was founded by Kathleen Tollison, who has spent her entire life in the animal-care world. Her father is a practicing veterinarian in Houston, Texas, and after college she joined his hospital team, eventually spending 16 years as Hospital Manager before bringing that experience to the mountains of Utah. That background shows up in the details that matter most to dog owners: strict vaccination requirements, careful supervision, transparent policies, and a genuine understanding of animal health and behavior.
When you board with us, your dog isn’t a number in a kennel run. We keep care customizable, follow your feeding and medication instructions to the letter, and tailor each stay around your dog’s personality — whether that’s a pup who wants nonstop play with friends or a senior who prefers quiet snuggles up front. As one longtime client put it, the lodge has become their dog’s “second home,” and many of our guests pull into the driveway already wagging.
Dog Boarding Suites
Every dog at Premier Pet Lodge stays in a private, indoor suite with comfortable raised bedding, fresh food and water bowls, and two mini daycare sessions included each day so your dog gets out to stretch, play, and socialize. All suites feature radiant heated flooring for cozy comfort during cold Kamas Valley winters.
We offer three suite tiers so you can match the space to your dog and your budget:
Standard Suite
5’×6’, $58/night
A comfortable private space with raised bedding, food and water bowls, and two mini daycare sessions daily. Ideal for solo small-to-medium dogs.
Luxury Suite
6’×8’, $68/night
Everything in the Standard Suite with more room to stretch out. Family dogs can share this suite, making it a great fit for households with two or more pups who are happiest together.
Presidential Suite
8’×9’, $78/night
Our largest and most premium accommodation, including raised bedding and bowls, a TV, two mini daycare sessions daily, and 24-hour camera access so you can check in on your dog anytime from your phone. Family dogs can also share this suite.
What’s Included in Every Boarding Stay
Every overnight stay includes a private heated suite, raised bedding, food and water service, and two mini daycare play sessions per day. We feed twice daily by default, or follow your exact feeding schedule if you prefer, and we welcome refrigerated and frozen foods. To keep your dog’s stomach happy, we recommend packing the food they eat at home rather than switching to ours abruptly; we can provide food for $5 per pet per day if needed. If your dog takes medication, our trained staff administer it carefully for $1 per medication per administration.

Because some dogs have food sensitivities, we don’t hand out in-house treats. If you’d like your dog to enjoy treats during their stay, simply pack their favorites and we’ll take care of the rest.
Health and Safety Requirements
Your dog’s safety is the foundation of everything we do. To protect every guest in our care, all dogs boarding at Premier Pet Lodge must be current on the following vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP). Please have your veterinarian send records before arrival or bring them at check-in. These requirements, along with our supervised play groups and clean, climate-controlled suites, help keep our community of guests healthy and happy.
Check-In and Check-Out Times
We keep arrivals and departures structured so every dog gets a calm, attentive welcome and send-off.
- Check-in: Monday–Friday, 2:00–5:30 PM; Saturday & Sunday, 3:00–4:30 PM.
- Check-out: Monday–Friday, 7:00–11:00 AM; Saturday & Sunday, 7:30–11:00 AM.
Early check-in or late check-out during business hours incurs a $15 fee, and after-hours check-in/out is unavailable. A $3 per pet, per day surcharge applies during peak boarding seasons.
